The\u00a02022 Hungarian National Chess Championship for Women<\/strong>\u00a0will take place from 5th-13th December 2022 in the premises of the Hungarian Chess Federation in Bucharest. The Championship will be ongoing simultaneously with the Hungarian Chess Championship 2022 for Men.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event will be played as a 10-player round-robin tournament, in 9 rounds, with time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves, with 30 minutes for the end of the game, and a 30-second increment per each move, starting from the move one. A player wins 3 points for victory, 1 point for draw, and 0 points for a loss.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The total prize fund of the Hungarian Women Chess Championship 2022 is 2.600.000 HUF (around 7000$<\/strong>), and the Winner of the event will pocket the money prize of 600.000 HUF (approximately 1550$).

WIM Julianna Terbe<\/strong>, WIM Barbara Mihok-Juhasz<\/strong> and WIM Bianka Havanecz<\/strong> are the top three seeds of the competition. Participants list:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
